Lab

In this lab, we will test the geography hypothesis using data on GDP per capita and country-level geographic characteristics.

You can complete the lab in either Stata or R, though I recommend Stata for first and second year students planning to major in economics. If you are new to Stata, be sure to watch Stata tutorials 0, 1, 4, and 9 before starting the lab. If you are new to R, I provide some guidance on getting started in R here. The lab templates will also coach you through all of the steps required to complete the lab.
